Our mission:


Earth Ocean Food Systems, Inc. (ETHOS) is a US-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to advancing ecologically sustainable marine and freshwater food systems. We contribute to local efforts with a global reach. Through meaningful collaboration, we amplify the impact of forward-thinking corporate entities, small businesses, community organizations, and indigenous communities that are making significant strides in developing these critical food systems.

We recognize that regenerative aquaculture, community-scale and indigenous-led projects, and initiatives in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are vastly underfunded, and that there is a knowledge gap between funders of sustainable food systems initiatives. We aim to bridge these gaps of resources and information.

Our approach begins with connection. Our commitment is to bridge resources to areas of need while connecting people to people and fostering collaboration among innovative practitioners and motivated funders.

We engage scientists, practitioners, and funders and investors together in interactive exploration of regenerative aquaculture through field-based excursions that showcase food sovereignty-focused solutions, integrate sustainable seafood production, increase local economic activity, and are ready for expansion or replication.
